Joanne Norton began her studies in body therapy in 1987 at the Akarma Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin. There she studied meditation, spiritual healing and color therapy. She graduated in Swedish massage from Racine YMCA school of massage in 1991. She continued her education yearly with the Upledger Institute in Chicago from 1992 up to now. Other schooling has been through the St. John Neuromuscular Therapy Pain Relief seminars in Madison, Wisconsin and Dayton, Ohio. Other recent education includes the Master Choa Kok Sui Pranic Healing Course in Chicago and energy medicine in Brazil. She has been a professional massage therapist in her own office since 1991 and is a current member of AMTA.
