BodyTalk System: A form of therapy that allows the body's energy systems to be synchronized so that they can operate as nature intended. In order to have optimal health, each cell in our body should be in communication with every other cell. Because of the stresses of day to day living, these lines of communication begin to break down, and our health begins a downward spiral physically, emotionally and mentally. Resynchronization enables the body's mechanisms to function at optimum levels, preventing disease and rapidly accelerating the healing process. This system recognizes that in each of us there lies the innate knowledge of who we are and what makes our bodies work. The BodyTalk System facilitates communication with this innate wisdom by using neuromuscular biofeedback. This feedback provides the practitioner with a 'yes" or "no" answer to any question that is asked of the body. The innate wisdom thus provides the BodyTalk practitioner accurate guidelines with regard to the body/mind requirements for optimum health.

Color Therapy: Color Therapy (chromotherapy) is using the color spectrum to heal. The body is like a sieve, it is built to allow energy and light to flow through it. Where there is blockage to this flow there is discomfort. Certain colors have the vibrational frequency to “loosen up” the blockage. Balance is restored.

CranioSacral Therapy: CranioSacral is named for the cerebrospinal fluid that flows up and down the spinal cord from the cranium (head) to the sacrum (tailbone). As it slowly flows it creates a rhythm throughout your body. The therapist assists this rhythm to self-correct dysfunctions in your body. Where there is a dysfunction, the rhythm is “stuck” and you feel pain, immobility, tension, etc. This can occur anywhere in the body. The cause is usually the result of a recent or past physical or emotional trauma. The therapist uses a very gentle, non-invasive light touch to locate the “stuck” areas and to assist the return of rhythm to these areas. As this occurs there is a deep feeling of relaxation, more freedom of movement, and less pain. It is very quiet and passive. You can remain fully clothed for this therapy. This is the most relaxing technique because it is working with the fluid that nourishes all the nerves in your spinal cord.

Ear Candling is used primarily for cleaning the ears and to promote a healthy atmosphere in the ears, sinus cavities and throat. The flame of the candle creates a draw or vacuum which pulls the wax, and other particles of debris out of the ear and up into the bottom of the candle. The client feels a warm sensation during the procedure and is left with deep relaxed feeling.

Lymph Drainage uses a very soft touch and wave-like motion to drain the lymphatics and other fluids of the body. When lymph circulation stagnates, toxins accumulate and compromise cellular functioning. This opens the way to physical ailments. Lymph drainage detoxifies and regenerates tissue, filters out the toxins, and helps to maintain a healthy immune system.

Muscle Release Technique is a unique therapy that combines compression, extension, movement and breath to give the therapist a tool to provide, in many cases, relief from pain. With this technique, scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened and relief from pain starts immediately. Trained therapists realize that when there is an injury to the muscle, scar tissue is the result. Scar tissue will keep the muscle inflexible, thus the muscle length is shortened. After a period of time, the muscle memory is lost and the chance of re-injury is increased. Nerve impingement is almost always associated with this condition, resulting in pain.

Neuromodulation Technique is a propietary system of health care treatment based upon a method of accessing and assessing the autonomic control system. The therapist utilizes verbal questions using muscle response testing, to tap into the body's intelligence. Performance of the autonomic system is modulated with a combination of verbal commands that are reinforced with acupressure along the back while the client follows specific breathing instructions. This treatment helps to eliminate the confusion within the nervous system. Once the confusion is eliminated, the body's healing abilities are unleashed, allowing a return to normal function.

Neuromuscular Therapy: This therapy works with specific muscles and the pain messages that they send out to the brain and spinal cord. The pain is caused by muscles that are overworked, contracted and hypersensitive. The therapist locates the muscles and uses the pressure point technique. The therapist and client work together to release the tightness, spasms and referred pain patterns from these muscles. Once these muscles are released, proper posture and more flexible body movements are achieved.

Neurostructural Therapy is a unique technique that consists of “rolling moves” over muscles, nerves and connective tissue. NST alerts the body’s innate healing wisdom to be activated. This results in a comprehensive reorganization and resetting of the musculature of the body characterized by lasting relief from pain and dysfunction. NST promotes an increase in energy, along with improvement in sleep patterns.

Pranic Healing and Chakra Therapy: Prana or Chi is the vital energy or life force. We all absorb and expel this energy into and from our bodies. The body uses chakras (entry and exit areas) for this to occur. Working a few inches above the body, the therapist feels what the chakras need. Where the chakra needs more energy it is replenished and where the chakra is congested, the congestion is removed. This is very light work and is especially good for very sensitive to the touch conditions, such as fibromyalgia. It is a good all around “balancer” and works well with chromotherapy.

Raindrop Therapy combines aroma therapy, using Young Living Essential Oils, massage techniques and heat to stimulate every organ, muscle and bone of the body at a cellular level. It activates structural and electrical whole body alignment. Raindrop therapy boosts the immune system and enables the body to release toxins.

Reiki: Reiki, a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force, is a healing energy therapy. Reiki can provide relaxation, energy, decrease pain, anxiety and promote health, wound healing and release of emotion. Reiki is received through a series of light hand placements on the client’s fully clothed body.

Somato-Emotional Release: Somato (body) Emotional Release is the process of releasing emotional tensions and traumas from your body. These emotions freeze the body, creating restrictions in blood and lymph flow. Over the years this can cause your body to dysfunction in many different ways. The therapist uses a very light non-invasive touch and simple questions to assist you in identifying and connecting you with how this is influencing your body. You get ‘in touch’ with your emotions. You leave the session feeling lighter and less burdened. You also attain personal tools to help you resolve issues and understand yourself better. You can remain fully clothed for this session.

Swedish Massage: Swedish Massage is the technique of applying oil onto the skin and working it smoothly and slowly over the muscles. The amount of pressure used is determined by the client. You can choose a whole body massage or request work on just a specific area such as neck and shoulders. For a whole body massage you are warmly draped at all times except for the area being worked on. The movement of the therapist’s hands pushes all the blood and lymph in the muscle tissues towards the heart and internal organs. This process promotes a replenishing of fresh nutrients to these areas and helps in removing toxins from the body. Decreased pain and tension results from normalized circulation. The release of the body’s own pain killers (endorphins) also occurs. Tight muscles loosen and the nerves calm down. You leave with a feeling of total relaxation.

Unwinding: Unwinding is the process of removing tension and tissue memory from the body. This is done by taking the gravity out of the body area that is causing discomfort. While the therapist gently holds the area off the table, it starts to unwind by very slowly moving through the positions that originally caused the injury. As the body “remembers” what caused the pain it is able to release the memory and tension associated with it. The nerves relax and the pain disappears. This area now feels relieved, lighter and less restricted. You can remain fully clothed for this session.

Visceral Manipulation: Visceral Manipulation is restoring health to all the body’s internal organs and their connective tissue. Internal adhesions and abnormal tone prevent the organs from moving in harmony with each other. Through very light, simple and specifically placed touch, the organs are restored to their proper working order. This is especially good for digestive problems.

Zero Balancing: Zero Balancing is a simple yet powerful method for aligning body energy with body structure. This is done by rotating the joins of the body and then using long stretches to release these joints. You feel very relaxed and move more freely.
