Debbie Teela entered the field of massage therapy with the encouragement of her son, Mike, who struggled with T-Cell lymphoma for much of his life. Mike spent a lot of time in hospitals, often receiving massage therapy to alleviate his pain. When faced with a career change, he encouraged Debbie to study massage therapy. Mike passed away in 2004, the same week Debbie was scheduled to begin classes. By delaying her scheduled start date by six months, Debbie’s husband Craig was able to attend as well, and both graduated in September of 2005 from the Blue Sky School of Profes-sional Massage in Grafton, Wisconsin.
The name “Just for You Massage” reflects Debbie’s goal of letting her customers know that their massage is a special time set aside just for them — and, for Debbie, it honors Mike’s memory, as well. |
